Mrs Costi

As I am sure you are all aware Mrs Costi is expecting a baby and she is leaving us on Friday to start her maternity leave. The teacher covering her maternity leave, Ms Desi Pavlova, has already been in school to meet the class and she will be joining us from Monday, 27th February. When we receive the happy news of the arrival of Mrs Costi’s baby we will inform you.

Sainsbury’s Vouchers

Active Kids is back and with your support we would like to collect even more tokens than last year!  We were able to redeem your vouchers against some fantastic new sports equipment last year.  Vouchers can be collected in store and online at Sainsbury’s from 25 January until 2 May, so let’s see how well we can do this year.

Dinner Money

We have received a reminder from Herts Catering that children who take a school dinner should ensure they are always up to date with payments. All children must have their dinner money paid for in advance.

If any parent feels they could be entitled to Free School Meals then please follow the link below. It is quick and easy to apply, completely confidential and you only need your National Insurance No. to complete the

Lateness to School

There has been an increase in children arriving late to school this year.  Children should arrive at school between 8.40am-8.50am.  Registers open at 8.50am and will close at 9.15am.  Your child will receive a late mark if they arrive after 8.50am.  Should they arrive after registers close, an unauthorised absence will be recorded for the morning session which will impact their attendance record.

School Gateway

Our new online payments facility is going well and we now have 59% of parents signed in to the service and 35% have downloaded the App.  Have you downloaded the ‘School Gateway’ App yet? If you have a smartphone, please download ‘School Gateway’ from your app store.

The app shows the same information as the website PLUS this will also save the school money when we send text messages.  You can get up to date information with what payments are due for your child even if you choose not to pay via the online system.

Alternatively, you can visit the website and click on ‘New User’.  You will receive a text message with a PIN number.  Use this PIN to log in to School Gateway.

We hope to increase our usage this term and hope that you will find School Gateway to be a fast and easy way to pay for your school items.

Yours sincerely
